Create Groups

You can combine several related items into a single group. Use the Outline level button to insert a new group into the bill of quantities. Enter the information for the group in the lower form area and create the items of this group in the upper empty table area by clicking the corresponding buttons in the New toolbar (2). Groups can be nested as often as you like, i.e. you can create another group within the group, etc.

A special group is the group of alternative items. It consists of at least two or more items, but only one of which is ordered. The estimated value of this group is always the estimated price of the first alternative item. In a normal group, the estimated value of a group consists of the sum of the estimated prices of all positions.

Info

On customer request, it is also possible to create groups that only consist of optional positions. Technically, this allows any options to be grouped together. The standard groups always contain at least one normal position.
